Wraparound 101

Certified Peer Support Specialists Only

  • Thanks for your interest in Youth Peer Support Training. The training application is currently closed. The next training for Q2 will take place between April and June. Please complete this form to receive updates about upcoming training opportunities.

Provider qualifications

  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current Idaho Peer Support Certification
    • You must have a current Idaho CPSS certification in order to attend Youth Peer Support Training. You will need to upload a copy of your current CPSS certificate with this form. Expired certifications will not be accepted. 
  • Lived experience as a youth
    • Self-identify as having personal lived experience of a mental health, substance use or co-occurring condition in your youth. You must have at least 1 year in recovery. 

When considering your qualifications for attending Youth Support Endorsement Training, please also note the following important items:

  • It is recommended that youth support providers be between 18-35 years of age.
  • It is important for youth to experience their youth support provider as their PEER. 
  • It is important for youth support providers to have a strong personal connection to current youth culture to connect with youth on a peer-to-peer level based on shared knowledge and experience.
