February 24, 2025 UPDATE: Claims processing system feed issue
Providers should now see all outpatient provider claims (837P) submitted fromJan. 22 through Feb. 3, 2025, reflected in online portals. These claims originally did not feed into Magellan’s claims payment system properly due to a system issue.
Note: Some claims submitted via clearinghouse during the timeframe when Magellan experienced the claims feed issue (Jan. 22 through Feb. 3, 2025) were mistakenly sent through our processing system twice. In those cases, you should see one of the claims denied for duplication, and the other will show current status (pending, paid, etc.). We apologize for any confusion or administrative burden this causes.
